This painting is about facing human fears. I have been influenced by the surrealist art movement and was thinking about the work of De Chirico when I painted this. I have used clear bright colours & deliberately cast the shadows in opposite directions to communicate a dreamlike appearance. I hope viewers can feel the positive emotional connection in my painting. This erotic nude symbolises beauty, resilience strong positive female energy. It will create a safe space within whichever room it is placed.
